The Caiman Boy

The Caiman Boy is a children’s book adaptation of the traditional Colombian folktale El Hombre Caimán, developed as my MFA thesis project at SCAD. This retelling transforms a well-known legend into a story for young readers, using expressive illustration and character-driven storytelling to explore themes of empathy, transformation, and cultural identity.
